About Ashlyn
Ashlyn Puffenberger's path to physical therapy is one of the more personal on the team — and it shows in how she works with patients.
A multi-sport athlete who danced for 12 years and played volleyball and lacrosse growing up, Ashlyn underwent two knee surgeries in high school and faced the uncertainty of whether she'd ever return to the sports she loved. With the support of her physical therapist, she did — making it back to lacrosse for her senior year. That experience left a lasting impression and became the foundation for everything that followed.
Ashlyn earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Frederick Community College and gained clinical experience across a wide range of settings, including pediatrics, outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, and pelvic floor therapy. That breadth means she's worked with patients of all ages and a wide variety of diagnoses — and she brings the same encouragement and belief to each one that her own physical therapist once brought to her.
Her goal is simple: to be the person in the room who helps patients see what's still possible.
Outside the clinic, Ashlyn stays active at the gym, enjoys working out, and spends as much time as she can with her nieces and nephews.
