Easton Germain, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Director of Therapy | Doctor of Physical Therapy
About Easton
Easton Germain has been one of the most respected sports physical therapists in the Washington DC area for nearly three decades. As Director of Therapy, he oversees rehabilitation across all three MOS locations, bringing the same standard of care to every patient, whether they're a professional athlete or someone who just wants their shoulder back.
His path into the field began at the University of Pennsylvania, where he competed on the Division I men's varsity soccer team. He went on to complete his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Delaware in 1996 (one of the premier PT programs in the country) and later earned his Doctorate at Arcadia University. He holds board certification in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a combination that reflects a philosophy he has held throughout his career: rehabilitation and performance are not separate disciplines.
Over nearly thirty years in sports medicine, Easton has designed programs for and worked with athletes at every level of competition: professionals from the NBA, NFL, DC United, the Washington Freedom, the U.S. Men's and Women's Olympic and National Soccer teams, the Canadian Football League, and University of Maryland Football, as well as elite gymnasts, professional dancers, and competitive athletes at the collegiate and high school levels. That breadth of experience shapes how he approaches every patient who sits across from him, regardless of whether they're returning to professional sport or to their Tuesday morning tennis league.
His patients, including those who know exactly what good PT looks like, notice the difference:
"I am a PT myself, and I highly recommend Easton Germain. He efficiently and effectively evaluated my 17-year-old athletic son and educated him in exactly what was happening to his body. He also treated my own shoulder and hip incredibly effectively. We are very grateful."
"I was very concerned about my shoulder injury and had resigned myself that I needed surgery. On the recommendation of my doctor I began PT. Over the last couple of weeks I really notice the difference. Easton is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I can't praise him and my experience enough."
"The level of expertise, professionalism, and compassion that Easton demonstrates each time I have a session. My anxiety and fear have been laid to rest, and I'm anticipating a full recovery."
"Easton and this practice have my complete trust and respect. The entire team is professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. They've always answered my questions completely and understandably. The care has been outstanding."
Away from the clinic, Easton stays active through running, lifting, and a range of recreational sports, because he believes staying in the game makes him a better clinician.
