About Yelyzaveta

Some people find their way to a career. Liza grew into hers — right here.

A Montgomery County native who played four years of varsity volleyball at Quince Orchard High School, Liza joined the MOS team in 2016 as a physical therapy aide while she was still working toward her degree. She was in the clinic, learning the practice, long before she had the letters after her name. By the time she graduated, she already knew exactly what kind of therapist she wanted to be.

Liza earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, then went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Neumann University in 2023. Her clinical rotations took her through acute rehabilitation, neurology, and sports settings, but it was outpatient orthopedics that felt like home. Which makes sense, because in many ways, it already was.

Her focus is on active patients of all ages: helping them reduce injury risk, build real strength, and get back to the activities that matter to them. She believes that confidence and physical function are deeply connected. She works to build both, one session at a time:

"I have been seeing Liza for physical therapy following a meniscus tear, and I cannot express how grateful I am for her exceptional care. From the moment I walked into the office, she made me feel at ease and took the time to understand my specific situation and concerns. She crafted a personalized treatment plan tailored just for me, focusing on increasing mobility and addressing the challenges that come with rehabilitation after surgery. What truly sets her apart is her dedication to working with me as an individual. She is attentive and adjusts my exercises according to my progress and feedback, ensuring I am always challenged but not overwhelmed. Her encouragement and support have been invaluable in keeping me motivated throughout this journey."

"Liza was great: kind, caring, thorough, explained every question. I'd highly recommend her to my family and friends."

"Yelyzaveta is extremely knowledgeable. She is professional and kind in her explanation of exercises and how they will benefit my needs. She is the reason why I pursued additional therapy. She is an asset to CAO."

Outside the clinic, Liza spends time with family and friends, hikes, kayaks, gardens, and takes long walks with her dog.
