Samuel Herbst, PT, DPT

Samuel Herbst is a Montgomery County original, born and raised here, educated here, and now practicing here with more than a decade of experience in outpatient orthopedics. That's not a coincidence. It's a commitment.

Sam earned his B.S. from the University of Maryland College Park in 2007 and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2013. Outpatient orthopedics has been his home for his entire career, and he's built expertise across the full spectrum: sprains, strains, complex post-operative cases, chronic conditions, difficult injuries, and everything in between.

What sets Sam apart isn't a single specialty. It's the combination of clinical skill and the kind of presence that makes hard recoveries feel possible. Patients describe it better than any credential can:

Outside the clinic, Sam spends his time with his wife and two sons, gets outside through hiking and sports, and is a committed Terps fan.
