About Christine

Christine Zammett brings more than 22 years of specialized physical therapy experience to the MOS team, and a credential combination that is rare even among hand therapy specialists.

Christine earned her B.S. in Kinesiological Sciences from the University of Maryland College Park, then went on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Over a career built around the upper quarter (the shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, and hand), she has developed deep expertise in manual therapy, post-operative management, and the kind of precise, individualized treatment that complex upper extremity cases demand.

She holds two of the most rigorous specialty certifications in her field: the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, and the Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) credential. This distinction reflects her expertise in dry needling and the treatment of pain patterns that often go unaddressed in standard orthopedic care. Together, these credentials speak to a clinician who has never stopped investing in the depth of her practice.

Christine is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the American Academy of Physical Therapy (AAPT), the National Association of Black Physical Therapists (NABPT), and the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC). Her approach to care is grounded in patient education. She believes that understanding your own injury and recovery is not a luxury but a prerequisite for lasting results.

Outside the clinic, Christine is an avid reader, tends her garden, and spends her time with family and friends.
