About
Jessica O'Keefe is a board-certified physician assistant licensed in the state of Maryland, working closely with the entire physician team at both our Bethesda and Germantown offices. She evaluates and treats patients directly, and assists Dr. Raffo in the operating room — giving her a rare vantage point on both the clinical and surgical sides of patient care.
A North Potomac, Maryland native, Jessica earned her B.S. in Investigative and Medical Sciences from Saint Louis University, where she also played on the Division I varsity soccer team. Before pursuing her PA training, she spent two and a half years working on clinical trials at the National Institutes of Health, studying traumatic brain injuries and stroke — research experience that shaped how she approaches complex cases.
Jessica completed her physician assistant training at the Anne Arundel Community College Physician Assistant program, where she completed an elective clerkship with Dr. Gardiner and Dr. Raffo — the clerkship that ultimately brought her to MOS. She went on to earn her master's degree in medical science from St. Francis University. She is a member of the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery and the American Academy of Physician Assistants, with a special interest in sports medicine and adolescent athletes.
