Where exactly is the Germantown office and how do I find it?
19847 Century Boulevard, in the office building accessed from Pinnacle Drive. From I-270 South, take exit 16 (Father Hurley Boulevard), use the left two lanes to turn left onto Crystal Rock Drive, turn right on Century Boulevard, turn left on Pinnacle Drive, and turn right into the parking lot (just past 5 Guys). From I-270 North, take exit 15B to merge onto MD-118 South (Germantown Road) toward Germantown, continue to Century Boulevard, take a slight right onto Pinnacle Drive, and turn left into the parking lot (just before 5 Guys). Enter through Lobby B from either side. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, suite 205.
What are the office hours?
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday. The extended hours accommodate working parents, student-athletes, and patients with limited mid-day availability. Call (301) 515-0900 to schedule.
Is parking free?
Yes. Parking is located behind the building and is accessed from Pinnacle Drive. There is minimal street parking on Century Boulevard. Additional parking is available in the garage below the building, also accessed from Pinnacle Drive.
Is the office wheelchair-accessible?
Yes. The parking lot, lobby (Lobby B), elevator, and second-floor suite (205) are all wheelchair-accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs, call (301) 515-0900 before your first visit so the team is ready.
What services are available at the Germantown office?
Physician consultations across all subspecialties (sports medicine, hip preservation, hand and upper extremity, foot and ankle, joint replacement), on-site X-ray, on-site ultrasound, PRP and biologic injections, durable medical equipment (DME) for upper and lower body injuries, and casting. Physical therapy for upcounty patients is typically scheduled at our Rockville location at 1071 Seven Locks Road, which is dedicated specifically to orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation.
Do you offer same-day or next-day appointments?
For acute injuries — recent fall, sports injury, sudden severe pain — yes. We hold same-day and next-day slots specifically for new-patient acute injuries. Call (301) 515-0900 and tell the scheduling team it is an acute injury.
Which physicians see patients in Germantown?
Sports medicine physicians (Dr. Christopher Raffo, Dr. John Christoforetti, Dr. James Gardiner) and our physician assistant team see patients at Germantown on regular days. Hand and upper extremity (Dr. Peter Fitzgibbons) and foot and ankle (Dr. Gary Feldman) are also available at Germantown by schedule. Do you treat athletes from the upcounty schools and clubs?
Yes. Quince Orchard, Northwest, Gaithersburg, Watkins Mill, Damascus, Clarksburg, and the surrounding middle schools all feed athletes into our Germantown sports medicine practice. We coordinate directly with school athletic trainers when injuries occur on the field. The Maryland SoccerPlex club teams in Boyds and the regional youth sports clubs are also part of the routine caseload.
Where will my post-operative physical therapy happen?
Most upcounty patients do post-operative therapy at our Rockville location at 1071 Seven Locks Road — roughly fifteen minutes south on I-270 and Montrose Road. The Rockville team works directly with our surgeons on every post-operative protocol. Some patients prefer to do PT with a therapist closer to home in Germantown or Gaithersburg; we are happy to coordinate with outside therapists, with the surgical team maintaining oversight of the protocol.
