Brian Long, PA-C
Physician Assistant located in Bethesda, MD & Germantown, MD
We are eager to welcome PA Brian Long to our practice. Brian is a Maryland native who grew up in Darnestown and began his medical journey studying kinesiology at the University of Maryland. He went on to earn his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from St. Francis University. His relationship with Maryland Orthopedic Specialists began years ago, when he worked as a medical scribe for our practice. This experience left a lasting impression and ultimately guided him back.
His decision to pursue a career as a PA was inspired by a deep commitment to delivering the kind of compassionate, high-level care he would want for his own family. During his time at MOS as a scribe, he saw firsthand the impact of attentive and empathetic providers. Watching the team of PAs care for patients with such skill and sincerity reinforced his desire to follow in their footsteps. Returning to MOS as a provider was a natural step, motivated by the standard of care and provider expertise that, in his words, is “second to none.”
In his new role, he hopes to continue that legacy by offering a truly patient-centered experience. His goal is for every patient to feel heard, understood, and cared for with the highest level of professionalism and warmth. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys fishing, staying active at the gym, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, including Maryland athletics, the New York Giants, and the New York Yankees. We are proud to have him back at MOS, now as a valued member of our provider team.
